Performance Specs
There’s only one powertrain for the entire lineup. The 2.0-litre Turbocharged I4 has an eight-speed automatic transmission, delivering 200 horsepower, torque capacity of 221 lb-ft, and towing up to 2,000 pounds. Combined fuel economy estimates stay at 8.8L/100km. The Selec-Terrain Management System is standard for all models. It adjusts the vehicle’s driveability according to terrain. Modes include Snow, Sand/Mud, Rock, and general use.
Design Elements
All models except the Sport have leather-wrapped steering wheels, although heated steering wheels are standard. The Limited is the only model with front and rear floor mats, while the rest of the lineup has all-weather floor mats. Heated front seats are also standard, but the Altitude and upper models include a power 12-way driver’s seat and four lumbar adjustments. The Sport has manual air conditioning, while upper models have a dual-zone automatic temperature control.
The base model has solar control glass; the rest come with deep-tint sunscreen glasses. Incandescent taillamps and automatic LED headlamps are standard for everyone. LED headlamps with automatic high-beam control are exclusive to the flagship model. Only the Altitude and Trailhawk Limited have foot-activated liftgates. Black side roof rails are available for the Sport, but upper models.
Technology And Safety Features
All models have Jeep Connect, 4G WiFi hotspot capability, navigation, SiriusXM Travel Link and Traffic Plus. The Sport and North have a one-year subscription to SiriusXM Satellite Radio, while upper models include SiriusXM 360L.
The infotainment system is the same across the lineup: Uconnect 5 with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display. This system also has wireless compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Only the flagship model is equipped with a wireless charging pad.
Safety features and driving assistants are nearly the same for all models. Standard features for everyone include seven airbags, a ParkView rear backup camera, and a panic alarm. The electronic stability control system (ESC) is standard for everyone, with hill start assist, electronic roll mitigation, all-speed traction control, rain brake support, and trailer sway control.
